Recipe for Crockpot Lemon Cake
What You Need
- 3 large egg whites
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 3 Tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 ½ cups milk
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¼ cup flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
How to Make It
Beat the egg whites until they become stiffened peaks. Set aside until needed.
Beat the egg yolks in a separate bowl and then add the lemon peel, lemon juice, butter or margarine and milk.
Combine the sugar, flour, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add the dry mixture to the egg yolk mixture and combine well. Beat until the mixture is smooth.
